  In 1904 anyone with half a Brain knew something big was on the horizon! What with all the treaties involving Europes major powers(Britain and France signed the entente cordiale that year for instance in anticipation of German aggression),rumblings in the Balkans,the build up of Germanys imperial fleet,the er,build down of Britains army it was clear a major apocraphylic event(apologies for any crap spelling) was round the corner...ok he (Russell)got 1914 right ,great coincidence of course...though of course war kicked off in August....

  When WW1 started He must have partied like it was 1899!!

  ... at least when it comes to cycling .

  lance armstrong and greg lemond have contributed 9 tour de france wins out of 120 starts by us riders which is about 1 in 12. french riders have won more, 36 tours in total, but with 4,730 starts or 1 in 131.. the irish have won a race or two (well, maybe just one).. still beats the brits though ... we have yet to win it !

  how old were you when you saw your first rated r movie?.

  i was 30 lol it was a movie called crazy people i think .. with dudley moore and daryl hannah.

  and boy did i feel guilty back then.. i mean they said the f word in that movie!!

  Well the first R-Rated movie (18 i think over here)was Fatal Attraction...i was about 16 and went with 2 Ministerial servants,i couldnt believe i was in a Cinema watching violence,swearing,sex etc!I even thought of confessing all after to the Parents,but then realized i would possibly get the other 2 in trouble as well(they were only a few years older than me)...added to the fact that i really enjoyed it!

  But,Boy, did i jump at the scene she came out of the Bath with a knife.........

  Hello...a familiar story...

  hi all,i have been reading the forum avidly for about 6 months,what a great idea it is !

  !ive done the careful fade thing for a while and all is good,i have been left alone,albeit with the usual waffle from parents et al....and now ive decided to say hi to all the wonderful people on the site.......hi!!.

  i was raised in the t***h since 6 and had the hell that is school etc,the crap job etc,but for the last few years,realizing it was a joke,bettered myself (i think)and am having a blast!!.

  Thanks all for the welcome....i feel ive arrived properly after Gumby called me a Bastard!! Ha ha....one thing i have definitely noticed since looking at the forum for the last 6 months or so,is how normal and ordinary most are here..was an eye opener after 25 years of constantly being told those outside the t***h are evil horned creatures!!Obviously a few here are horny though......

  ps as far as i know i havent got any Fleas,tho i did notice a strange rash on me leg when i woke up....

  beginning in late winter or early spring, 1993 .

  after we moved into the motel on el norte pkwy, i realized right away that it was going to be extremely difficult to cover our living expenses, since the monthly motel bill for our room would use up the greater part of the afdc check, which included our food allowance.

  we?d have little more than 100 dollars for groceries, laundry, personal necessities, and transportation.....i became more and more depressed.
